I was cooking on the stovetop on high when I noticed a light grey color on the glass. I removed the pot and turned off the burner. When the burner cooled the grey film would not come off. I tried glass cleaner with no luck. I understand that in can use a razor just as you would use on regular glass but I am afraid to scratch the finish.

Any suggestions? Do I need to replace the glass?

tks
