i have a kenmore stove that i bought off someone and when i got it didnt work properly . when i turn on broil you could hear gas and ignition but didnt turn on .so i call a appliance guy he said he would check it out he came and said he thinks it set up for l/p .he adjusted the warmer and broiler orficis but i dont know if i need to change the orfices in them and on top burners im not even sure if thats the problem it may be set up for n/g anyone know how to tell if its set up for either one and if its set up for l/p does the lower orfices have to be changed or just adj. thanks

some models have a valve that you can set for either gas, but some have to have the orifice changed, but this is only 1 orifice for the whole unit.

how can i tell which one i have. i took out the orfices on top burners they have few numbers and 1 letter a (L) i didnt know if that was for l/p

i bought new orfices for my top burners and the flame doesnt look right it stll comes out small my 2 buddies have stoves like this one not exact but there flame gets alot bigger than mine does.my flame comes out blue and redish/orange .anybody know what could be up
