Hello, My control board clicks every few seconds and the fan on the condenser rotates in turn with the clicking. From reading the threads it looks like my problem is the control board. Before I go spend $140 on a new one I was wondering if there is anything else I should be checking before I install a new control board? I would hate to put a new one in and have it blow. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for any help.

If everything else works, you just may have a bad condensing fan motor. I would replace that first to see if it fixes the problem. It might be drawing excessive current, you can measure that if you have an amprobe.

Nothing else works except the lights which dim slightly when the relay clicks. The icemaker doesn't do anything when you ask for ice or water. All the fans just sort of move slightly when the relay clicks. The compressor doesn't run. Thanks for your suggestions.

On my control board there are 4 plugs. 3 on top and one right below those. I unplugged the bottom one and plugged the power back in and the compressor started working. There is no more constant clicking now but when I push the ice maker i hear a realy click once. Any ideas now. Thanks for any help.

That motherboard controls everything in the fridg. If you have problems it's the motherboard, just replace it.
