My lower spray arm stopped spinning and melted on the heater coil. I removed the arm and rigged the door so I could watch. Water came out of the side of the machine (as to put in detergent?) but the next cycle the motor made a continuous squeeling sound with no water to the top or bottom spray arm. I moved the dial to drain and it works. I think I am in trouble. Any ideas?

The same thing happened to my dishwasher of the same model just recently. How did you end up fixing the problem?
