Greetings!

I have this fridge, and the ice maker had stopped working. Also, I had noticed over the past 2 years, water is flowing (small amount at a time) to the bottom of the freezer. I can see multiple layers in the ice when I remove it. I ordered the ice maker from this site, and all was well. However, I noticed that the water is still accumilating in the bottom of the freezer. Every so often, I have to remove the bottom drawer, along with the huge block of ice that has formed at the bottom of the drawer. Yesterday, the ice maker seemed to jam up, and it had stopped making ice like the old one was doing. I used a wood handle of a knife and tapped lightly inside the icemaker, and now it is making ice again. Its as if the mechinism is getting jammed. I am now wondering if the water (ice) at the bottom of the freezer could be a by-product of the problems with the ice maker, or if the ice maker is giving problems because of the water issue.

Any advice on how I can stop the water from getting to the bottom of the freezer would be greatly appreciated. Any other advice would also be appreciated as well.

Thank you!
