The dishwasher starts in the rinse cycle and never shuts off. all the functions work...water in/out, heating, draining, etc.... The sequencing is a problem.

I'm guessing it is a control board but am looking for a way verify it before buying a $175 part. I'm an electrical engineer with VM's etc...

Most likely the problem is a bad control module. This model is very similar to Bosch SHU68xx, so you can use the troubleshooting manual from one of our previous posts: http://forum.appliancepartspros...troubleshoot-manual.html
