This is an electric oven and we had an lightning strike which wiped out a few things including this oven.
The oven shows nothing on the display and none of the buttons do anything, however when you turn one of the burners on, the display powers up flashing 12:00 at which point all of the buttons function. However none of the burners or the oven actually get remotely warm.
I've replaced the EOC unfortunatley that makes no difference whatsoever. When you turn the burners on, there is a short buzz sound that lasts for less than a second, the only other thing I can say is that the warming zone switch doesn't work at all, the others all have their light come on and power up the EOC display, but the warming zone switch does nothing at all.

I think that's about everything I can think of, any help would be greatly appreciated.

In case jamerson does not reply, it sounds like a power problem (lost half the line) to me.

What happens is that when you turn on an element the power from the side of the line that normally does not power the control board feeds through a part and now powers the control board.

Try flipping the breaker off/on slowly a couple times. Sometimes you can loose half the line without actually tripping the breaker.
Check the voltage at the plug
L1 to L2 should be 240 volts
L1 to Neutral and L2 to Neutral, both should be 120 volts.
If OK
Unplug the unit and check the wires at the terminal strip in the machine to make sure none are loose or burned out
If OK
Check the power at the terminal strip.
Do this with the heater off and on.
