I have an iceburg forming under my ice maker and the fan blades hit it making a horrible sound. I take everything out of the freezer and remove the inside back aluminium panel to manually defrost the iceburg with a hair dryer. It fixes the problem for about 6 to 8 weeks at which time the fan hits more ice. Is it the quarter sized round thermostate under the ice maker. Part #1399517 on it does not match up with anything and the on line parts house shows no picture of the wiring harness that they will sell me. Part# 2310240 is the harness but the thermostate is not mentioned.
