My dryer is not heating full power! It's drying only light clothes like shirts and jerseys but It won't dry heavy clothes like jeans or jackets even when in high heat cycle. The heating element was replaced about three month ago and I checked to see if it was burned again but it look fine to me (last time it went bad you could see the damage). Anybody knows what could be wrong this time? I can't really afford to pay a repair guy to come fix it!! Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks!!

You might check your circut breakers to see if one of the two has tripped. turn them both off then reset both. If onefeels mushy or loose you might have a bad breaker. Thats the first and easiest place to look.

In my experence there is heat or no heat ... Never low heat ... I would look into airflow restiction ... best way to test venting from your dryer to the outside is to run a load with the dryer vent disconected.

If I got it right, we are talking about much longer time to dry a load and not about low heat. As gabe_1981 said, the most common cause in such situation is an obstructed vent and/or blocked air ducts inside the dryer as well as a broken blower wheel. Thanks for your responses guys! I did open the vents to check for lint and block and there was nothing. The blower wheel is also working fine. I got the dryer running with the vent disconnected to check the air flow and everything seems ok.
I was thinking... Since what I'm getting is low heat no matter in which cycle the dryer is, could it be that the cycle switch has gone bad? I don't know, is the only thing that comes to my mind because I do get heat, just very low and loads take forever to dry. Please let me know if that make sense so I can go ahead and buy that cycle switch.

Locate the cycling thermostat (#8 on the diagram). It has two large and two small terminals. Remove one of two wires from a small terminal (either one) and insulate it. Run the dryer on high heat and post the result. Gene.
