This dishwasher has been trouble free until the soap dispenser door stopped opening. I've read in previous posts that replacing the wax motor usually fixes this. Not this time. After installing a new wax motor (which did not fix the problem) I tested the old one (by applying 120vac) and it works.
I'm not sure what to do next. It seems like the wax motor isn't getting power, so a schematic would help. Can someone please provide a link.
Thanks a lot!
PS Does anyone need a like new wax motor - only used once!

Thanks you for the info. The unit is working fine again. Turns out the problem was calcium or mineral deposits built up on the dispenser slider, pivot, ratiner and latch, causing it to bind. Took it all apart, cleaned each part, reassembled and we're good!
