This happens sometimes, more often when we do large load, the washer do the washing cycle just fine but once in a while it get to rinse cycle and won't spin, won't empty and the timer continue, when it gets time to fill up the washer after the spin cycle even if it didn't spin or empty, it just start to fill up and because the washer is not empty it overflows, we end up with a major cleanup, but if we catch it in time and stop the washer for a while ( without turning the timer knob ) and start it back up it will start where it stop and spin empty and continue to the end of the washing cycle. But most of the time it will do 3 or 4 load in a row without any problems.
Any idea what it could be, I read many post but couldn't get a real answer.

I tought about that but what stop me from buying it was the fact that 85% of the time it work just fine, it mainly just happens with big loads, it's like that the motor overheat and trip ( I do not know if there is a overheat sensor on the motor ) and when it cool down it will start back up ( not by itself, we have to turn it off and back on ).
After reading this if you still think that it's the timer I will buy it.
