I recently had a problem with the main electrical coming into my house and had some really high voltage spikes. I lost several appliances etc. but my range I only half lost. The burners on top work but there is no life in the electronics on top of the stove. It does not light up, and you can't turn on the oven etc. I have looked on line for parts and the only thing I can think of replacing is the clock/timer. Is this correct? It seems like the only part that might work, but does it really control all the things I mentioned? Any help is appreciated.:)

Yes the board does control the oven while the stove top elements are independent from it.
