Hello all,
About a month ago my ice cube maker stopped producing ice. I immediately purchased a new water filter thinking that it may be the problem but it was not. I took the recommendation of a sales person at Lowe's and took it out, let it thaw, and put it back in. That seemed to do the trick as the teeth started moving and water came down into the cube trays, and by next morning it made a row of ice. Well that was the last time it made any ice, and since then I have taken the maker back out again (on numerous occasions) and replaced the filter one more time. On top of all of this, the teeth still turn. Every day, I open up the freezer, press the button, and watch the teeth go through the motions but no water gets dispensed into the cub trays. Does any one have any idea as to what is going on?

In addition, I have tried defrosted the freezer, put a hair dryer to inside of the freezer and the line, detached and took apart the ice maker water dispenser in the back (as a matter of fact I pulled it apart and put it together wrong and had water running to the freezer when ever I pressed the water dispenser). I really did not find a filter unless you count the small round item between the pin and the very beginning of the water tube. With all that said, HELP!!!
