My maytag washer is leaking, I removed the front panel and dried everything then poured some water into the tub. The leak seemed to be coming from the pump at the front center bottom of the machine. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to repair this. I wanted to take the pump out to examine it, however i don't see any screws holding it in place. How do you remove the pump or am i wrong and this is not a problem with the pump at all?

The parts diagram shows 3 screws hold the pump on. Is the water coming out near the motor shaft input to the pump? I would disconnect the 2 hoses first but have a pan ready to collect the water. Then look for the 3 screws as shown in the part diagram for your model and remove. The pump may be a little hard to come of the motor shaft if some rust has formed from the water leakage.
