Bad morning to say the least. Woke up to find our GE Profile PSC23SGPASS refrigerator 102 degrees. The freezer was fine. Everthing was ruined. Went shopping yesterday so fridge was full but not stuffed.
ITs now 1 1/2 hours later the fridge is empty and the tempature is 40 degrees and getting cooler. I read that something may have been blocked but I am confused if the blockage is on the freezer or fridge side? Should we wait a day to see if this happens again?
I guess this is a good time to give the fridge a good cleaning. LOL

I guess this is a good time to give the fridge a good cleaning. LOL Sounds like the door wasn't closed and the lights didn't go out. Can't think of any other failure that would cause the freshfood section to get hot and the freezer to stay cold. Usually that would also cause the food to have condensation all over it. Can't think of any blockage that would cause the fresh food section to heat up to 102 degree's.

Thread, Just had the same thing happen to our unit. 115 degrees F. What a mess!! Cleaned out the fridge, Un pluged and pluged back in, reset temps in controll panel. Started to cool down and now the next day seems to be operating normal. Go figure! How much trust do we put in the unit now not to destroy some very good beer???
