how do I change a switch for the glass top large 8" burner??? I think I have my problem narrowed down to this and it would be a lot nicer to have control over my burner again.

In order to provide the most accurate advise I need the complete model number of the range.
Also I need to know the position of the bad burner (like the right front or the left rear or ...).

The model number you posted is incomplete. There should be one more letter and a digit after"G".

They never published the complete model numbers in a book.
You can find the complete model number on the frame behind the bottom drawer.
