I need a Defrost Timer (and location) for my GE sidexside refrigerator/freezer.
This may have been posted already, but I get lost in the message threads - for this I apologize as I really appreciate your service here.
Sincerely,
Marcus

Defrost is controlled by the main board located on the back of the refrigerator behind a metal panel.

It is not common for the main board to cause a defrost problem typically it is either the defrost heater or the evaporator thermistor. This page may help GE Refrigerator Repair Guide
