My Bosch SHE44C model was part of the fire hazard recall, but my serial # fell outside the range - so it was 'okay'.
Within a month of receiving that information, the dishwasher failed by never stopping - the circulation pump just runs and when the time reaches 1 minute it stays there.
Request: 1) What is the RESET procedure for this model? 2) How do you run the diagnostic procedure and what are the result codes for this model? 3) If the control board is bad, are the diagnostic results still reliable?
I read some of this information for other models, but nothing specific to the SHE44C series.
Thank you for your help!

dont know diagnostic codes. sounds like Bosch and their circuit board problems. Mine (shx46) had burnt solder connection. cant reset that.

Thank you, sbk101,
Trying to decide on repair versus start over with new. My Bosch dishwasher is only 3 years old, so electronic parts would be covered - but labor adds up quickly.

When you say new are you saying new dishwasher or new parts? The control module is covered for 5 yrs on mine (mine only 3yrs old) but to get bosch out to cover the warranty will cost me $99 for the first 18 minutes. then $120 dollars an hour in 6 minute increments. Thats why I just soldered it myself. Is is draining ok when you cancel the wash cycle? On my model you have to press 2 buttons simultaneously to cancel/drain. Mine was draining fine so I knew it wasn't a draining problem. Can you have someone take it apart for you to see if it is the circuitboard? (make sure to disconnect power first)

Thank you, SBK101,
That is exactly the issue. Drains fine when I CANCEL/DRAIN, but it doesn't heat the water. Your repair cost info matches what I found. I could take it apart and look for a loose circuit on the board - just need to decide so that I don't void the warranty if I want to have the repair done.
Once you soldered the board, is everything fine?
Appreciate your reply!

Thanks again, SBK101, for all your help and encouragement.
I have been distracted by my prolonged job search, but have revisited this issue over the past week. Two days ago I finally succeeded in getting the circuit board out of the Dishwasher and, as promised, the problem was VERY evident. I cleaned the pin and remaining solder thoroughly and then re-soldered the damaged spot.
Was VERY excited that this repair was successful, and I'm no longer the 'dishwasher'. Best part is knowing that I won't be getting a bill for $200+ in the mail!
Praying it will last for years to come...
Thanks again!!!

glad it worked- mine's still going strong. One of the guys on the forum (link provided earlier) has offered to fix the boards with new relay. if mine goes again I might take him up on it.
Wish you the best with your job search.
