When I turn the dryer on, whether the door is open or closed, the heating elements come on, but the motor doesn't start. I don't even have to push the start button. I ohmed the motor out and it looks good. I check the motor leads, and I am not getting power to the motor when I push start with the door switch jumpered. I am thinking that the timer switch is bad. Is this right or not? Do you have any suggestions?

You may have 2 problems.

1. Sounds like you have a grounded element, the heating coil has either sagged or broken and is touching the case. Usually you can see this. If it looks OK then I would check it with a meter to make sure it is OK.
Remove both wires from the heater and measure it, should be around 10 ohms.
Then measure from each side to the frame/case, should be infinite ohms.

2. Since the above would cause unregulated heat, there is a good chance your thermal fuse is blown, Item 7 in Section 1. Check it with a meter, should be 0 ohms.
