My washer has thump in wash and rinse cycle. When I apply moderate pressure to the tub toward the front of the machine, I can stop the thumping. The load seems to get unbalanced in the spin, even when clothes look evenly distributed. Anyone help? thanks

The first thing I would check is the belt.
Remove the screws on both sides of the front panel (on the bottom). Push the front panel down and pull it toward yourself. Check the belt (under the transmission) and if it's worn out, replace it.
The part number for the new belt is AP3867042

Good luck.
Gene.
