Manufactured 07/2003. Sears Model #413.43142200, Serial Number XC33108599. When the washer fills it never stops and overflows to the point where it has pushed open the front load door. I have turned off the power and water still fills.

Thanks in advance for your feedback.

Your most likely problem is the water inlet valve set, which will need to be replaced. This is a relatively inexpensive part, and you can reach them by removing the top of the washer.

Good luck, and let us know if this fixes the problem.

Had similar problem. Turned out a mouse had eaten through the rubber sensing tube. The washer couldn't tell how full the washer was.:o
