Son overloaded washer now it smells like stagnant water is keeps getting worse. How can we remove the tub to clean out water?

I am just guessing, but I think the overload may have caused some to clog the drain hoses or pump and it has not completely emptied. Otherwise, hard to see how overloading it would cause stagnant smell.

that you can use but if not just run it alone with some bleach
