looking for some help made some repairs still freezing up in freezer:)

Here are your parts

Rotate the timer cam till the evaporator and compressor fans shut off.
You are now in a defrost cycle.
Check to see if the defrost heater comes on.
Be careful do not burn your fingers
If yes you probably have a defective timer.
If no it is probably either
A. The defrost heater should be around 20 ohms
B. The defrost thermostat should be 0 ohms when frozen. Note it opens just above freezing.
