The dryer would not heat. Heating element tested ok. Replaced the two thermostats and now is heating. But there is a yellow wire right up front with a white end cap that I don't remember disconnecting. Is it important and where does it go?

Look inside the dryer below the filter. Their is some sensors mounted there. That yellow wire connects to the sensor and relays dampness info back up top. Page 7 of this tech sheet shows the sensors

Thanks, I found out where it goes. The previous repairman didn,t even reconnect it when he changed my heating element. Thanks alot
