my dishwasher is not filling with enough water to wash items on the top rack. If I add water to the tub, it works just fine, drains well, etc. The problem is that it is just not filling with enough water to either wash or rinse. What could the problem be?:confused:

Hi Shirl,

Most likely the problem caused by the clogged water inlet valve (#16 on the tub break down diagram) which has to be replaced.

- The part number for the water inlet valve is AP3010773

Here are the break down diagrams for the Whirlpool dishwasher Model DU8000XX4
