We keep blowing defrosters. Keep replacing them and keep blowing them. So now we are replacing the refrigerators circuit board in the back. We ordered the part but the new part is for a dual heating element but our frig only came with one heating element. Question is, do we hook up all the wires from the board to the element or what? Thanks Tina

Here are your parts Replacement parts for GE GSS22SGRESS | AppliancePartsPros.comDo not understand why you are replacing the board? Unless the unit is defrosting too often? I think I would have just replaced the heating element with the new dual heater type. See Item 230 in the "Freezer" section. The reason for the new dual element kit is that the single elements burn out too often, in any case I would install a dual element kit now. |
