The baffles in my washer are breaking off. I put a new one in and it too broke off. Screws were included in the repsir kit but because I cannot tell how to use them.

I am also baffled (sorry) and the service manual does not address the issue. Unless the screws go into the basket (and I assume have looked at that possibility) you will have to take the tub and basket out. Here is the service manual which will show you how. https://secured.whirlpoo...ILE/Duet%20Job%20Aid.pdfAn equally important question is why is this happening?

I had the same question, and found the answer on another forum. I have a Kenmore He3t, which I believe is similar. No need to remove the drum. Remove the top cover of the washer (three screws in the back). Gently pry off the vent hose at the top of the barrel, rotate the drum to the appropriate position, and the screw holes will be visible through the vent hole. Just don't drop the screws.
Cheers, Drew
