Replaced the touch panel about 45 days ago. This morning after running the dishwasher there is water in tub but no power, no lights. No response from panel. AC is 120VAC, two door latch switches ohm to zero. there is a theraml switch near the computer board with 2 wires. Can they be shorted to test if this is bad? Also another "box" near the air vent with 2 wires. is this another sensor? can the wores also be shorted to test for failure?

The issue was resolved by replacing the fuse on the control board. The dishwasher worked until the day before Thanksgiving and started the 7 light blinky thing. I found a small water leak was getting one of the Heater leads wet and it rusted enough to make one contact bad. I removed the Heater adn sanded the rust off the Heater contact. The connector was rusted bad as well. I then cut off and crimped on a high temp connector and reinstalled the heater element. That worked about 2 washes. Now it goes to the 7 light blink but after the second tub fill not the first. It goes past the first 8 minute cycle. Meter says element is 11 ohms at the other end of the wire which tells me my crimp is okay. Anybody have any ideas?
