Just moved into our new home and found out the ice maker is not producing ice.

Model: 106.59597990 Coldspot 2 door
Age: More than 10 years

Symptoms
1) Water spout does draw water to glass
2) Water line to freezer is dry (no water)
3) Ice maker will dispatch ice to door access when the ice cube button is pressed
4) Manually filled ice maker with water but the ice maker did not churn to dispatch the ice
5) Removed ice maker to dry out and reinstalled; did not resolve issue

Does the inlet valve need to be replaced? Or is it possible there is a problem with the ice maker and the controller that initiates the draw for water is bad?
