Our washer will not spin and only hums when it gets to spin cycle.. It will fill up with water but wont empty... I think I over loaded it one day and then I smelled something hot.. Like a burning belt. But it seems this washer doesnt have a belt.. Please help

I am assumng that the machine agitates fine, then stops when it tries to drain and go into the spin cycle after thew wash cycle.

If it will not empty this means the pump is not turning. The most likely cause is that something is jammed in there, so take off the pump and see if it is causing the problem. Check all the drain hoses and make sure nothing is obstructing them.

If that does not fix it, post back and we will come up some other ideas.
