My icemaker stopped working. I have just replaced my water inlet valve and no change. I used my test point on the module and got water into the mold. Why wont it do this buy itself?

Gene, Does a part on the icemaker i ordered tell the water inlet valve when to pump water to the icemaker? Im confused on how that works. please help austin

Which part did you order? You have to replace the whole ice maker.

the whole icemaker is what i ordered, does the icemaker tell the valve to send water up to it?

Yes. When the ice maker motor goes around, it's engaging a water valve switch inside and sending power to the water valve.
