Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 1/29/2008(UTC) Posts: 1		I was baking last week at 350 degrees. My infant son touched the outer part of the door for a brief moment. It gave him second degree burns on two of his fingers. I called a repairman out to check it out. He pretty much told me that it shouldn't get that hot to cause a burn. Is it normal for an oven door to get that hot? Should the door or insulation be replaced?

These may be blocked, or you may have a bad door seal. If a bad seal and your electronic control is near the top of the door, get it fixed real soon as it will eventually destroy the control.
