Hi Nick,

Most likely the problem is a blown cavity thermostat (#1430 on the Diagram #5).

Gene.

Thanks Gene. I've got one ordered based on your knowledgable suggestion, and hopefully the swap will be a simple one. I hope to be Speedcooking my weenies in a blanket again soon! Will let you know if all is well after the item arrives. Nick.

I have the same problem. Where were you able to order the part?

Ordered the parts online, here. Have been away from home, so have not tried to install/fix yet. Will post back when I'm done, hopefully with good news1 Search based on your model number under "find parts" above. Good luck, Nick.

Got my parts, now do I have to pull this beast off the wall to install the cavity thermostat? Hope not! Anyone? Thanks, Nick.

Hi Nick,

Unfortunately you do have to pull the "beast" off.

Gene.

Guess what I'm doing? Enjoying my weenies in a blanket just before the Superbowl, ladies and gents. Thanks to Gene and the Appliance Parts Pro team, I was able to diagnose my problem, and swap out my blown cavity thermostat amd re-install my convection/microwave as I hoped, in time for Superbowl. Loved doing it without having to take it out to service! Thanks all, you guys are the best! Cheers, Nick.
