Hi there..

pilot light went out in oven, I removed what I believe is a 48" thermocouple, hooks into oven knob (thermostat) goes across the top of stove, down the back side and then screws into bracket on bottom--have checked all over, unable to locate this part...please help me if you can..everybody wants to sell me everything except this part? website does not acknowledge thermocouple in search?? frazzled. thank you for any help you can give me.

Hi Linda,

The part you removed is the 3/16" gas tubing from the oven thermostat to the oven pilot.

If you did not brake it - just install it back. There is a pilot gas shut off screw on the oven thermostat. Make sure it is open.

Gene.
