Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 9/27/2009(UTC) Posts: 3		I have order the upper clothes mover for my Whirlpool clothes washer. It does not seem overly difficult to replace. However, there are two or three removable parts. It appears that they do come with the cylinder. Do they come with the cylinder and is there any type lubricant needed? If lubricant is needed, does it come with the parts. What type lubricant is needed? Thanks

However if you are replacing the top mover because its not moving you may be disappointed. You most likely needed this..primarily what they call "the dogs" Part Details - WHIRLPOOL Agitator repair kit, medium length cam, part number: AP3138838

The dogs are what provide the ratchet action so that the mover only turns in one direction to push the clothes into the lower agitator. They are the most common item in the agitator to fail. The last time I actually ordered a clothes mover they did not come with it.
