Your Model Number was not complete so the following info is for a PQ0 Here are your parts Replacement parts for WHIRLPOOL LER5636PQ0 | AppliancePartsPros.comHere is a wiring diagram http://www.servicematters.com/d...0Sheet%20-%208528187.pdfCould be a number of things at the top of the list are. 1. Power, turn the breaker off/on slowly a couple times. Sometimes you can loose half the line without actually tripping the breaker and the heater requires the full 240 volts. Better yet check/measure the voltage with a meter. 2. Heater could be burned out often you can see the broken element. Also can be checked with a meter. 3. Heater fuse is blown. This is the one on the heater itself. Again can be checked with a meter. Here is agood site with basic dryer repair info. http://www.applianceaid.com/dryers.htmlAlways unplug the unit when working on it. 240 volts is lethal. |
