Washer makes a buzzing / grinding noise in the spin cycle and wont spin .
Please any advise .

The first thing I would check is the motor drive coupling (#13 on the motor and pump break down diagram).

You can just lift the washer from the front to check the part, but in order to replace it the cabinet has to be removed.

- The part number for the motor drive coupling is AP3963893

Here are the break down diagrams for the Roper washer Model RAX7244JQ0
