replaced drive belt, second wash acts like belt is broken or poped off. Is there some technique in tensioning this machine's drive belt. the motor seems to float and is not really locked down. So how do you tenstion the drive belt. Motor has two bolts to attach to a plate and they slide. Is there some secret to this instillation?

There is a pivot spring which provides tension on the belt, it looks like this. Part number: AP4027842
Check yours to see if it is there and ok.

I have and it is fine. I think I may have found the problem since the belt came off again. The whole nylon pulley melted and destroyed it self. I had old motor to that one, made modification to hold it on. Clivis pin. also found missing slide on back of motor plate. Transfered that from old motor. Machine running right now I have my fingers crossed. Thank you for your reply was good advise.
