HELP PLEASE I have ordered the spk-module for this stove. The one shown in the parts catalog AP4364254 is the same as the one on my stove. It also lists in your description that the part is Whirlpool part #W10110491. Order # 766115

After Patrick C told me on the on-line chat that the one I have is probably the wrong part since it is different than the illustrated part, he had it reshipped and I received the same "different" part with the Part # W10110491 label on the part.

My problem is: The part shipped has seven terminals and the one illustrated and mine have six terminals arranged differently than the replacement part. I need to know how the new part should be wired into my stove.

In addition, the mounting for the replacement part is different than the old module-spk.

I can send you the chat transcript if you wish

I am guessing that the terminal difference is that a frame ground connection has been added to the replacement part with the line and neutral on either side of the ground terminal. I believe the remaining connectors are the wires to each of the burner ignitors.
The difference in the mounting can be resolved by drilling another mounting hole and adding a second sheet metal screw.
Am I correct??

I have installed the Spk-Module as I surmised in the previous entry. Attached the ground terminal to a frame ground.

The Line and Neutral terminals are reversed on the new module.

Also had to modify the plastic on the top end to fit in the space occupied by the old module (plastic package is longer on the new module, so had to remove about a quarter inch from the top mounting.
Works like a champ.
Just sorry that none of the "Techs" got around to provide guidance.
