Glen, thanks for the info. Now I think I understand how the controls work. The colder the freezer is set, the less the diffuser door opens to cool the frig.......Right. Grumps

Grumps Right, This is why its not a good idea to turn the freezer up all of the way. You starve the frig for air and since the electrical control is in the frig turning the freezer too high with make the unit run longer.
