I also cleaned out the lint and the pipe to the outside of the house. It seems to not get hot enough, staying the same temp on med or high. Can the heating elements be partially burned out? Model DPSR475EW1WW. Thanks, Paul

Sometimes you cannot see it, so brush it off with your hand and check it with a meter. Also, make sure the blower and internal venting is clear, they tend to get obstructed with lint.

One of the elements looked a lot better (newer) than the other, leading me to believe that the other one isn't turning on. How do I check it with a meter, just for continuity, or should it resist a specific amount of ohms? Thanks so much Paul

You should have a tech sheet under the console which will give the specs, if not look for between 10 and 20 ohms resistance. Also, make sure no part of the coil is touching the metal frame.
