Recently my Bosch SHU5312/U12 started showing a 2h cycle time when starting a regular wash cycle. It use to say 91 (for 91 minutes) it then runs for 2hrs but gets stuck at the 1 min point and continues to run. We cancel the cycle, it then drains out and quits. I have read here that this may be a heater or controller board problem but had no seen where the cycle time has changed. Any ideas? BTW - the controler board was replaced at year 1 under warrenty.

Most likely the problem is a bad control module. This is one of most common problems with Bosch dishwashers.

- The part number for the control module is AP2802870

You'll find that the circuit board behind the display has a burned solder joint on the relay junction. I repaired mine using some solder and a short piece of wire. Works fine and probably much more reliable than the original install.
If you own and can operate a soldering iron, you probably posses the rest of the skills to fix this yourself.
