I moved into a house that has this refridgerator in it. GE Profile PSS26MSRB SS - made in 2004 I think. I've noticed that if there is any water laying in the water tray, it will LEAK under the trim of the dispenser, see these pics: 1) Not sure what is invlolved to fix this? Cost? Also, I notice when the motor turns on/off to maintain the temperature, it's a little loud. I can manually make this motor turn on/off but pressing the Turbo cool button, see video here: http://www.burtmanindustries.com/images/xyz/ge_turbo.MPG2) Is this normal for this unit? 3) Also, I've noticed that the light for turno always stays on, but when you press Turbo, it gets brighter, but never goes off.

Did you evry find an answer to your water leak issue? I am having the same problem with my water dispensor on my GE fridge. I believe that the water is not being properl;y shut off and is pooling in the tray area until that overflows and goes down the front of the freezer door. If you have found the solution, please email me at jeakle4@verizon.net. Thanks Dennis

its possible water valve at back of fridge is slowly leaking into waterline to water dispensor even when not energized. replace valve, motor sound sounds normal for this fridge ,it opens +closes baffle to allow cool air from freezer when needed =

I've replaced the valve, same exact issue. Replaced the self piercing valve with a drill type. The pressure was doubled when testing it before the fridge. Same issue, same leak.

misterfixall, can you go into more detail on what valve you mean? I replaced that electronic valve. The electronic one inside the bottom of the fridge at the rear. Didn't fix the issue.

Hi I have a GE Artica profile refigerator
I have a problem where the water tray by the ice maker fills up and does not drain. Is it suppose to drain. The water leaks by the trim and down the front of the refigerator.
Let me know how to make the drain work. It does not seam to be a hole in the drain. Should I make a hole so the water drains to the bottom and evaporates
Thanks

Just an update. I've done everything I can think of and it still leaks. I replaced the electronic valve in the back, still leaks. I replaced the water tank with just a tube for the water spliced in, and it still drips after filling a glass. Looks like I have to just live with it dripping 5-8 times after a glass is filled?

Jason, did you ever find an answer to your leaking ge door. I have the same refrigerator, brought in 2004 and has just starting leaking from the same spot. I had the repairman from ge service out today and his first diagnosis was that I was overflowing the tray from either water or melting ice. When he found that wasn't the case he called into a service desk and they said that there was no other way for water to get in there and the remedy was to replace the door for $1000.00
