The freezer of my side-by-side gets ice built up at the bottom. It will leave a puddle on the floor every couple of days. If I remove the ice, it's back again in a day. The drain pan under the refrigerator is bone dry and without any cracks or holes. Is it a drain which is plugged or something else?

The problem with your refrigerator is a frozen drain line. The drain hole is located under the evaporator in the freezer. You probably have to remove the rear panel in the freezer to access it. You can use a hair dryer to defrost it and hot water to make sure it's clean.

Thank you Gene for your help. I finally got to the freezer this past Saturday and that was exactly the problem. Since I thawed the drain and the melted the ice around the coils and other parts the freezer part has been running great and no more water under the frig. Thank you so much for your counsel.:) :)
