:confused: The wife is upset, seems that our electric dryer ( its approx 8 yrs old) is taking way too long to dry a load of clothes. I have checked the following- blower motor is working, no plugged exhaust line from motor to exit point outdoors, I can even see the coils cycle on/off, however, she has to run the dryer 2 full cycles to get the clothes dry. Could this be a bad t/stat?, thanks for your help...Gene in AZ

hey i have the same problem and was curious if you replaced the thermostat? And did it work? Thanks
