Washer was working on the spin cycle only. Would not work on wash or rinse cycle. Thought it was the timer, but it was not. We installed the timer, and it still did not do anything. We took the timer back and purchased the valve today. Installed the valve, and the washer filled up with water, which it was not doing before installing the valve. Now it will not go to the next cycle. What should we try next?

Check your water level switch, it should transfer power when full. Check resistance per the wiring diagram.
