My washer will not agitate during the rinse cycle. This happens in every setting. It fills, agitates, drains, fills again for rinse cycle, DOES NOT agitate, just sits there waiting on the timer, then drains and spins.
Does this mean I need a new timer?
Thanks!

This strongly suggests a new timer is needed,
Good luck.

Great, glad you got it fixed. We like situations like this where you do all the work and we get some of the credit.
Thanks for the update.

I have a Maytag washer an it does not agitate on rinse an the technician tells me that it’s normal for the washer to not fully agitate on normal cycle. I don’t agree. The washer will fill up with water but just spin away with no action. Is this really what the machine does?
