My dryer has been getting clothes stuck between the drum and the piece around the door, always the same spot. It particularly likes to ruin my 5 year old's clothes leaving black marks and sometimes small holes. Is this a fairly easy fix?

You need to take a close look at these two pieces that I have listed below. Something being wrong with them could allow what your describing to happen. The one is a felt seal and the other piece in the duct assembly that the seal attaches to. Taking the front off will be necessary to give it a good inspection.
