We seem to be missing the last digit of your model number. Please post it and we can probably come up with something.

Thanks

Hi Joanne

Try this replacing the push to start switch, here it is from APP but you can also get one from any appliance parts store.

Part number: AP3097490
Part number: AP3097490

Also, your dryer should stop when you open the door.

If this does not fix it, and it does not stop when you open the door then you may have some wiring issue which will have to be checked wire by wire.

Let us know what happens.
