My washing machine is ill. I've had my set for 11 years and I've had problems recently in the past, such as not draining all the way and the second spin won't work all the way through. Last night a new problem popped up. I went to turn it on to start the cycle and it just starting agiatating, I tried on all the cycles... it does the same thing. NO water will come into the machine.
Is it worth fixiing and what's the most likely thing wrong with it?
Thanks Michele Bowman
This is set is over 11 years... I picked the right one on the pull down menu, but it showed up wrong.

No water will come into the machine, so yes it agitates without any water... In fact that's all it does is agitate.

Open the control panel and locate the water level switch (#2 on the diagram). Remove the wire harness plug from the switch and check for continuity between the "V" & "T" and the "V" & "P" switch terminals. If there is continuity between the "V" & "T" terminals with no water in the washer then the water level switch has to be replaced. - The water level switch Part number: AP3020321

Does the P=Purple, V=Violet, T=Tan?

Yes, that's correct. Make sure you check for continuity between the switch terminals, not between the wires.
